New Weapon in War Against Candida:

Niacinamide has been discovered to have some incredible anti-fungal activity against candida, folks over at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) of the University of Montreal discovered.

Otherwise known as vitimin B3, this is quite exciting, as it’s a water soluble vitamin for which fairly substantial doses seem to be able to be taken without side effects.

Niacin itself likely will not produce the same anti-candida effect.

But nor will niacinamide offer the benefits of niacin, namely that of reducing cholesterol levels, which it is commonly used for.

We also avoid the “flush” effect…whereby the skin turns red, itchy and hot…with niacinamide.

This is also a relatively inexpensive…heck, outright “cheap” in comparison to other…supplement and has been sitting there on our grocery store shelves all these many years, candida sufferers walking right past it, never knowing that it can debilitate candida’s ability to reproduce and form biofilms, as well as mess with it’s DNA structure to the point of drastically reducing its viability.

Wow.

I would try it at low doses and slowly work my way up, and make sure I had a high quality whole food vitamin/mineral to help offset any potential micronutrient “robbing” that may happen when we take isoated vitamins like this.

More Support Against Sugar:

I have been discussing as a focus in the FacelessFatloss program the absolute need to tone down sugars.  We are overloaded with them in the western diet, and the over-exposure has been, for a long time, destroying our health and making us fat as hell.

As I’ve said countless times, sugar/glucose is a must for survival and healthy brain/muscle function.

The problem is, most people equate sugar to the white stuff they put in their coffee and on their sugar (yuk on both counts personally) oblivious to the abundance of it in nearly ALL our food products on a scale never before seen.

Also: not simply “sugar”…the all-important new plague, that of high-fructose corn sugar.

And yes, I’m aware of the corn syrup ads that claim with the happy-shiny-people-faces that it’s just fine for us…

…in a sense, they’re almost right…

…the problem is, what they are OMITTING that is causing all the problem:

That of MASSIVE over-consumption, that people are simply NOT AWARE OF.

As I’ve also said, a “calorie is not a calorie.”  The new studies agree with me on this, but I never needed them to prove it; it’s common sense and self-evident.

Let’s not forget the aside: that almost all HFCS comes straight from GMO corn.

Frankenstein corn.

Animals avoid GMO foods almost 100% of the time when given the choice.

Their inherent knowledge and sense of nature tells them, “this food is a mutated monster…no thanks.”

And I won’t reference the speculation regarding what some GMO foods are capable of.

So we’re combining both huge over-consumption of sugars, with huge consumption of Frankenstein cereal, which, by the way, a couple multi-national corporations are tying to patent and own exclusively as food products that only they can offer seeds to grow, food to produce.

I don’t know  about you, but something sounds more than a little corrupt about such an idea.

P.S. Need I reference insulin resistance or cancer tumors being fed by sugar?  Enough said?…(I hope?)

I Would Refuse Chemo/Radiation if I had Cancer:

I was asked recently how I have so much info pertaining to how to manage and possibly heal various illnesses and conditions…have I dealt with all of these things myself?

In short, the answer is:

“Yes.”

I’ve been through the ringer in my life.  I don’t complain about it, nor talk about it, because I know there are those who have suffered more than I.

But it’s been about enough for one lifetime.

And one just never thinks, as they’re growing up pain-and-disease-free, that something terrible can happen, that will stick, that won’t go away, and that saps the quality of life from you for a substantial amount of time.

It was in large part conventional medicine…modern doctors…that caused an increase in the pain and illness that I was dealing with which before seeing them was not hurting me terribly, and after taking their advice escalating it into something that was profoundly painful, for a long time, and for which they did not understand.

I learned a lesson.  Unquestionably one of, if not “the” biggest lesson of my life.

And I try hard to not “hate” western medicine for what it did to me.

My current stance is that it’s good for trauma care at most…and should not be used for anything outside of that.

Due to my past illness, I came very close to having cancer.  I was twice in two “pre-cancerous” states whereby if I had a typical lifestyle, typical western diet, I most likely would have lost my life by now to the disease.

So when people suggest that I would change my mind, and opt for chemical therapy or radiation to manage a cancerous condition, I can assure them with 100% certainty, that I would definitely not.

Not a chance.

Not out of anger or spite, I would not play with my own life that way.

But instead, because I know that destroying my immune system, or building up a toxic load, is not in my body’s best interest when fighting disease.

And I do not know of a single cancer treatment approach by western medicine that does not involve burdening the body with a toxic load.

Hence their use of the word “treatment,” and not “cure.”

They will treat me, but not cure me.

I prefer the way I “treat” myself.

And I am getting to know more and more people opting for alternative remedies, and if not outright surviving long-term, at least buying themselves lots of extra time, with quality of life intact, where it likely would not be with typical western treatments.

I’d explore high dose vitamin C, colloidal silver, blood electrification, oxygenation and free radical control, rife technology, Qi Gong, and others, all of which I already have experience with, and experienced more benefits than herxing from each.

I’ll take the alternative approach simply based on experience:

Western medicine made my life miserable and almost killed me.

Alternative medicine improved my health and brought back my quality of life.

The choice is easy.

How I Would Prepare for Surgery:

I was asked today what I would do to prepare for an upcoming surgery.  Here was my response:

What is being operated on?

This is only what I personally would do:

I would find out if they plan to administer antibiotics, which they likely will.  I would tell them a “no” on that, and would gradually up my vitamin C intake in the form of ascorbic acid, prior to the surgery, then maintain the levels during and after, and very gradually bring them back down down over the next three weeks, taking less and less each day until I was back to square one of either minimal or no vit C, switching over to camu berry powder instead as a food source vit C at that time.

You can read about how people do this from places like the Vitamin C foundation and some of Linus Pauling or Thomas Levy’s work.

The main idea is free radical and infection control.

I would then use my colloidal silver for the same purpose just before and then after for a week or more daily, the smallest dose I could take just as a great back-up to control infections.  I’d use it topically in the area as well, depending on where the incision is made, to help heal the incision and control infection via stem cell stimulation which silver ions will assist with greatly, speeding up skin repair time.  A shame you could not access the TBD silver, it’s amazing.  I know it’s available there, I just don’t know where.  Hopefully yours is comparable.

Those are the first things that come immediately to mind for an operation.  Then of course water/salt (I’d stay on a saline IV for as long as possible, until I could get home for clean spring water and crystal salt) and super-clean diet with clean proteins like raw whey to help the body recover, and greens/sprouts or quality green whole food supplements.

My Teeth-Brushing Routine:

Oral health is so crucial.  Everyone knows my stance on the silver/mercury amalgam fillings, as well as root canals.  I opted for an extraction in the past few years due to not wanting my first root canal.

I do not mean to concern anyone about root canals…you can do your own research.  I just opted to avoid them due to having past illness issues, and desiring minimal possibility of a festering infection in my gums, due to the lack of circulation present when a root canal takes place.  Was just too much for me to risk, in light of managing illness.

It is theorized now that a great many systemic issues start in the mouth.  Seems to always boil down to a mouth or colon origin.  And in many ways it just makes sense.  With the mouth, we have one of our primary entry points for foreign objects entering our bodies.  The input sublingually is enough of a concern, but surely the gums and where the teeth meet the gums presents another entry point.

The idea is to (hopefully) not get TOO paranoid about infectious issues.

But with the toxic world we now live in, and the interrelationship between toxic environments and germs…I choose to be conscious of all of these things to assist my immune system, and in turn my energy reserves, as much as possible.

I brush with a very soft-brisled tooth brush, and I brush in circular motion, in each direction, forward/reverse.

My “toothpaste” is, believe it or not, coconut oil.  Sometimes I’ll spray some of my magnesium oil on it.  After brushing with either, I spit into the trash, instead of down the sink for the same reason one would not put animal fat/grease down…just to help avoid any potential clogging down the line

Once or twice a week, I will take an organic strawberry, mash it down into a near-liquid, and add an equal part aluminum-free baking soda in, stirring it into a paste.  I will brush with this for five minutes, very gently, and ultra-slow.  The strawberry has whitening properties, and the baking soda is a great alkalizer.

Between brushes or before social events, I’ll swish with no more than 3% H2O2, perhaps with a little spring water mixed in, and then rinsing with spring water.  H2O2 creates a powerful oxygenation, so I would not use any stronger H2O2 to protect the gums, and I make sure it’s a pharmaceutical grade H2O2.

A drop or two of straight organic peppermint for breath freshening, or cinnamon which is a great anti-bacterial.

At social events, organic cloves…one or two popped in the mouth and allowed to dissolve (it takes a while) is a great spice for breath freshening with an at-times intense spicyness that does the job well.

“On My World”:

Where I come from, there is a different way of living.  One that I hope starts to catch on here on this world:

All produce available anywhere is grown above what we would call “organic.”  So there are no options outside of clean, pesticide-free food, because pesticides don’t exist there.  There are other natural means of deterring insects from eating the foods.  And there is no need for a government-granted standard, since everyone agrees to the standard as is.  All want the most healthy foods they can have.

My world is one of compassion first.  It is the primary focus when any problem is encountered, as compared to focusing on consequences and/or punishments.

All food available everywhere is inherently healthy.  A variety of foods exist, with plenty to choose from.  But the first focus is on how the foods may impact most people’s bodies, and measures are taken to assure foods are uplifting for most.

The educational system has a strong focus on health and well-being.  The system, much different from the one here on so many levels, understands the interconnectedness of all, body/mind/spirit/etc, and therefore the vital importance of maintaining the bodies we are born in on a daily basis to ensure optimal performance.

There is no money.  There is exchange, and a form of “commerce” of sorts, but it is arrived at via complete participation and agreement of all.  There are no separate entities that benefit from the exchange or involve themselves in private interactions.

There is a birthright to all, assuring everyone alive of adequate food and shelter at all times.  This is a world-wide effort, since the importance of each and every person is held to such a high standard.

Nature is as much of a focus as the health of the people.  There is an understanding, again, that there is an intimate inter-relationship between the people and nature, and it therefore is held with high appreciation and respect.
