Fast Food and Depression Link Established:

A recent study at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Carnaria and University of Granada in Spain showed that commercial baked goods, such as cakes, doughnuts, croissants and fast foods like hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza are linked to depression.

Consumers eating these foods are literally over 50% more likely to suffer from depression.

Most importantly the study suggested that in the long-term, even eating small quantities of these kinds of foods lead to a significantly higher chance of developing depression.

Almost 9,000 people participated in the study as part of the SUN Project who before the study, had never been diagnosed with depression nor taken antidepressants.

I know from my own personal experience that this is unquestionably true.  I would factor in alcohol as well, but back before I cleaned up my diet, I was unquestionably dealing with on-going anxiety and depression, that for me now, is basically non-existent.

Once a new lifestyle is committed to, the rewards are such that one never turns back.  Why would one want to when the body chisels down, the skin clears up, the mental outlook improves and life just gets all-around “better?”

It has been 100% worth it.

Underarm Aluminum; Safe by Default?

I’m simply not going to put an antiperspirant under my arm, in my pits, where the sweat glands are, offering too much opportunity for aluminum to enter my body, inert or not, nor any of the other myriad of chemicals used to tame the stinkies.

Mind you, sweat really has no scent.  It’s when it mixes with bacteria that the place starts to smell like a teen-aged locker room.

But what irks me, is when people will say “there are no studies proving that aluminum under the arm causes (breast cancer, Alzheimer’s, etc).”

To quote an author directly, an author whom I respect some opinions from, but definitely disagree strongly with others:

“…antiperspirant , with its aluminum compounds, could in fact be a breast-cancer contributor.  But this is all speculative—a reasonable theory but one that has not been proven in studies on humans.”

My gripe is this:

In order to determine conclusively that the aluminum compounds actually do cause breast cancer, we would need to study humans voluntarily exposing themselves to a possible carcinogen, with the understanding that this exposure may cause cancer, over the course of time…be it years or a lifetime.  (And certainly let’s NOT test on animals our own lack of common sense).

How do you find human subjects willing to expose themselves to a potential carcinogen for study?

While we’re at it, can we get some human subjects who might be willing to suck on some mercury-amalgam jawbreakers every day for the next five years-plus to see how the silver/mercury fillings in our mouths may be affecting us?  Any Mercury-Mad-Hatter volunteers? (Search if you don’t get the reference).

Certain metals we well-know are damaging to the body when we are overexposed to them in various contexts.  Others are highly suspected.

There are alternatives to using aluminum, as there are to mercury.

I wonder why they’re not being more actively used, especially when there is concern, and there is demand.

Huge Developments, Multiple Areas, in the FLFL Program.

I have a couple announcements pending as the participants in the FacelessFatloss program are aware.

After just a bit more testing and some coordinating, I will be able to release the information, and I can’t stress it enough…you all know I’m not prone to hyperbole…this is absolutely HUGE news, on both counts.

Most of you now know about the third development, in offering the cellular/colloidal silver as an option to the ionic silver.  Those new to my program won’t notice this change, since it’s already built into the program.  But that too was a biggie, having wanted to provide the product for the FLFL community for over three years now, and finally finding some awesome nutritionists whom I could connect with to offer it to you.

I am hoping most of you are taking on the fast/cleanse.  I am still hearing steady reports back, consistently, that this part of the program is crucial to helping create some real change in lifestyle and progress with fat loss.  The “cleaning out” is just essential for far too many of us who have clogged our colons with a burden that needs to be lifted.  I feel strongly that the supplements I suggest for use with the fast are part of what makes it so successful…we are human garbage collectors of pathogens and toxins.  It is an on-going effort to keep ourselves clean, just like anything in life that collects debris.  The fact that western society so clearly neglects this part of needed general maintenance is reflected everywhere we look in ill-health and large bodies.

On top of all these latest developments (the three in total, two to-be-announced) there is yet ANOTHER new development that I’m almost AS excited about as well.

Folks, I don’t know how/why, but so many things are falling into place all at once that is enabling me to bring you a top-notch approach to superior health and wellness, with some sex appeal to boot.  It makes me incredibly happy to be able to present these options to you, options well-researched, used, and proven to improve ourselves in body, mind and spirit.  It is my hope that I’ve made this pursuit a fraction the effort it would have been for you otherwise.  Only took me about twenty years and a few chunks of an already-depleted nest egg to get here.  😉
