Yahoo says Health Concerns are Nonsense:

Leave it to the so-called “Health Experts” over at Yahoo to tell people that widely controversial health issues…issues that became controversial *because of* concerns people were witnessing based on cause and effect…to try to convince everyone that not only are the following complete non-issues, but that you can even INDULGE in the below with little to no concern:

-Talk it up on the cell phones folks!  All that radiation is a total non-issue to your brain and any other system.

-Vaccinate your child robustly, regardless of autism concerns.

-Don’t worry about plastics; most are totally safe.

The list and reasonings are just long enough, and manipulative enough, that the vomit raising into my throat prevents me from elaborating more.

Especially the part about talking it up on the cell phone without concerns, and plugging your baby full of WHO KNOWS what via syringe.

Absolutely amazing.

My law background comes into play once again.

Note how they are referring to very specific pieces of information that do not contain enough “evidence” to support any dangers.

In other words, how they manipulate people’s opinions by stating something like “there is no evidence that cell phones cause brain cancer” without referencing ANY other potential complication of cell phone frequencies on the human body/brain.

It’s all about liability.  These all happen to be HUGE industries, huh?

What does your common sense tell you about the cell phone tower’s power getting that signal to a fraction of an inch from your head?  Would you hold a radio’s receiver up to your head for a few hours a day?

What does your common sense tell you about injecting unknowns into your infant child?

I am living on an insane planet.

Frustrating Organic Cherry Shortage.

Where I live they’re having a tough time getting the seasonal organic cherries in.

It’s great that they are in demand and selling.  They’re a little expensive at the $5.00 mark for the small basket full, but well worth it for the amount of eats ya get.

I’ve even gone without organic apples for a solid two weeks plus at this point, which is something I rarely to never do.  The local supplier explained that the back stock has completely sold out for us northeasterners, so we have to wait for the Fall season for the apples to come back.

Sucks.

I have reverted to organic frozen strawberries for my green smoothies, but they add a lot less sweetness to balance the greens.  So I add the “joint juice” in as well, since that is very sweet and I need only two ounces of it for a serving, and it suffices.

But I sure as heck miss those apples and cherries.

The cherries are like dessert to me.  I can literally down about $20 worth in one sitting.

And they make awesome pre-workout sugars…that ya down about 3 minutes before ya hit the weights hard, or my Hi/Lo/Hi/Lo tactic.

Who do I have to have sex with to get the damn cherries in?

Someone let me know while I hop in the shower.

;p

Heed Stroke Warning Signs:

People are too often still not recognizing signs of a stroke.

The incredible thing about strokes is that if care is taken quickly, within a couple hours of the first signs of a stroke, the after effects can be great minimized OR EVEN avoided entirely.  I know of a person who was able to make a full recovery within a year after a stroke based on getting her into the emergency room as fast as possible.

Most of you know how I feel about doctors and hospitals.  There are exceptions to everything.  And as I’ve stated repeatedly, the western world of medicine in most parts of the world that practice it, excel in trauma care.  That should be there sole focus in my opinion; get rid of 90% of the pharmaceutical drugs, and reserve doctors and hospitals for accidents and emergencies, and we will have ourselves an ethical and productive world of medicine.

WARNING SIGNS OF STROKE:

-Sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body.

-Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding.

-Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.

-Sudden severe headache without any known origin

Ask the person to smile, and look for a crooked smile.

Ask them to speak a phrase such as “don’t cry over spilled milk” (just about any sentence) and look for slurring of words.

Ask them to raise their arms up to head level out at their sides, and look for an imbalance.

A great remedy to have on hand at all times is a capsule of cayenne pepper.  NOT to take the capsule…but to instead break it open and get the raw cayenne pepper into the mouth with a little water if possible.  Yes it will burn a bit, which will heal.  It will also increase blood flow to the brain.

THIS TECHNIQUE HAS BEEN SAID TO BE GREAT FOR HEART ATTACKS AS WELL.
