Hey again, Tim here,
While we are embarking on our first cleanse, let’s understand the what we’re doing and how it absolutely applies to achieving our goals. Very soon we will then go into the styles I present and how they work. If you are on the cleanse now, use this time to take advantage of what I have to teach about how so important it is, to reduce our toxin load, while addressing pathogen issues at the same time.
DETOXIFICATION:
I realize detoxification has become a “catch word” since the mid-2000’s. Far too many diet programs are attempting to use some form of detox in their program, most of which…the vast vast majority…are almost useless as far as real results go. I have referenced elsewhere in my material the $400 per month diet plan that alleges a form of “detoxification, but without having any colon flush as part of the program. No good.
One of the most common testimonials I receive are from people saying simply that my version of the fast/cleanse made them feel better than they have in years, once they completed it. Just getting this crap somewhat removed from our bodies frees us up immensely to be able to have our bodies operate at near-full efficiency. WHAT a difference this can make in one’s life. Do NOT underestimate it!
In my opinion, the detoxification in combination with a pathogen management protocol per my cleanse is what really makes the difference. On-going, life-long detoxification in turn makes that pathogen management, working with our “microbiome,” that much more fruitful and is simply a great asset in the fight against fat and of course illness.
It’s not so much about annihilating pathogens in our body…it’s more about keeping our bodies as clean on the inside as possible, which in turn reflects on our outsides, and enabling our immune system to then manage pathogens in a harmonious way so that we are all living with one another, in a cooperative environment. Some attacking of pathogens may be necessary to get things under control, but from there, we will pamper our immune system so that it will do most of the work.
We do this via an initial fast/cleanse, and then an on-going diet and food and supplement-based detox for the rest of our lives.
And doing so gives us more energy, healthier state of mind and being. All conducive to permanent fat loss and health. THIS IS HOW I LIVE!
If we must eat any kind of processed food, it all boils down to reading labels. If you do not know what the ingredient is, why would you put it in your body? Many ingredients are clearly of a chemical nature. I think we put far too much trust in large corporations that have profit motives, seemingly above any other concerns.
What does the ingredient list on that head of broccoli read in the produce section? Or that apple? Or that spinach? Or that kale? Or those tomatoes? Or those dates? Or those cherries? Or those avocados?
I’ll be darn…I couldn’t even FIND an ingredient list on any of
those foods.
“HMPH!!!”
(I think I’ve made my point)
Ladies should pay special attention to their cosmetic products. If you could see the list of ingredients being put into these substances that you then place on your face, you would be appalled. There are cosmetic companies out there now who make a grand effort to put only skin and body friendly ingredients into their products, and you’ll find most of these companies are also ethically conscious in that they refuse to test their products on animals.
I devoted a page to cosmetics and personal care product ingredients that are known to be unsafe:

We cast our vote on ALL of the above matters with our money. When you buy specific products, you are saying that you approve of them. Let’s stop giving money to companies who insist on selling their products via cheap ingredient selection and any/ALL ethical issues, the list of which is long.
SO!
First we clean up the colon…then we stay mindful of the demands made on our liver, our primary detoxification organ. Keeping the colon clean makes the livers job that much easier. I love to eat a raw bitter green almost daily. Eating it raw directly stimulates the liver through a mechanism in the mouth and tastebuds. Just a small chunk each day eaten/chewed raw, then a bunch of greens in a green smoothie, also “chewing the smoothie” to get the enzymes in the mouth to pre-digest the greens for our full nutritional impact. (NEVER just swallow green smoothies, nor even green juices…they MUST be “chewed,” else the full benefit is greatly dimished, and may even cause digestion issues).
Ever see how some people may look “fat,” but actually have an internal organ issue? A large mid section is sometimes mistaken for a “fat” mid-section, when in actuality the liver is inflamed. The most common problem by far when it comes to liver issues is the consumption of alcohol. This is of course not always the cause of a fatty mid-section, but at times it contributes to the appearance.
As I discuss elsewhere, the condition of “being fat” is often a low-grade sickness or disease condition; your fat will store toxins and move acids in an effort to protect other more vital organs. Toxins/wastes can’t be as easily stored anywhere else, when one has plenty of room upfront over the abs and in other places in which to store the contents of inflamed and growing fat cells.
So it can only benefit us to have an optimally functioning liver to both make sure fats are digested properly (a small amount of healthy fats in the diet can be essential to fat loss!), as well as ensure that an effective and efficient toxin removal occurs.
We absolutely depend upon the colon, kidneys, liver/gall bladder and the lymphatic system as the routes to removing the toxins and waste. And I’ll cover all that stuff over time.
The liver is “THE” detoxification organ. In this day and age the liver has to work WAY too hard. So let’s keep ’em healthy!
Liver detoxification is a question I’m often asked about. Cleaning out the colon is fairly “accessible,” by the fasting and alternative fasting methods I discuss. The liver, however, is only indirectly accessed, hence the questions.
There is a somewhat controversial method of liver cleansing involving olive oil and apple juice. I experimented with it myself a while back, and did experience the anticipated side effect of nausea, but obtained some interesting results, but will not be experimenting with it further in the near future based on further research. Some recent research is suggesting that the results that are obtained from this style of flush are not exactly what people think, but are more a “side effect” of combining the ingredients used into producing the output experienced. Please research that yourself and as always make your own decisions. Instead, I simply eat leafy greens raw as referenced above, with dandelion leaves being my very favorite (I enjoy the extra-bitterness) and kale being another.
In my opinion, the liver simply has to be detoxed rather slowly, and more via diet than anything else.
Love, Happiness, Health and Peace……………..Tim
COMING UP: Is the pathogen load of our internal terrain causing us to do…perhaps EAT…things we do not want to be? If so, what the heck ELSE could these bacteria, viruses, and fungus be responsible for??
P.S. Soon we’ll get deeper into the diet and exercise. Some unexpected twists and turns are pending in those arenas, so stay tuned! 🙂
