Hey again, Tim here, on DAY TWO of the Over 40 and Ripped System:

ALTERNATIVES TO FASTING.

For those of you who are either diabetic, or feel that the Master Cleanse-style fasting is too rigorous for you to take on:

Several alternative ideas are explored, such as the green juices, which also happen to be excellent alkaline-forming foods (more info on that concept coming soon).  Please feel free to take my ideas and develop a program of your own.  Once you understand the general ideas behind what we’re doing, you can embark on finding your own versions that will surely be just as successful, while following your internal guidance to show you what is right for you.  Develop it, and trust it…it will take you far, just as it has for me.

Please be aware that juicing type alternatives should be carried out for a much longer period of time.  Whereas the Master Cleanse style fast lasts about 6 to 10 days, I adhere to these alternatives for at least a couple weeks when I opt for them. Idea being of course, that it should be much less of a challenge to get through these kinds of programs because we are afforded the ability to eat on a basic level, but we also need to make sure additional fiber (such as the psyllium) is consumed to enable morning bowel flushes.

And on that note, depending on the length of this kind of program, every-other morning oral salt water enemas would be most appropriate; I wouldn’t want to use oral salt water enemas on a long, extended basis, but we do need to make sure we evacuate our bowels on the off-enema days as well.Another option to both cleaning out and parasite removal, with a focus on fungus/yeast/candida and daily bowel movements is to incorporate the enzyme/probiotic combo I suggest at the site below this paragraph.  I have gone on green smoothie cleanses that last about a week, then I’ll incorporate in some other foods like clean proteins and solid vegetables and fruits, while taking the enzymes each night before bed, and then a probiotic 3 times per day to help rebuild the intestinal environment.  The combination hits fungal issues extremely well, and is a great option for those who can’t do the Master Cleanse-style fast due to dietary limitations.  As you will learn, fungus is a focus of much of what I teach, and for very good reason…it is potentially responsible for countless ailments which include weight gain:

For many of you who have not explored detoxification before, you will find amazing changes; lighter moods, more joy, more energy, much greater health and well-being and of course ultimately…a helping hand in weight and fat loss.

This is in part because fat cells unquestionably store excess toxins within them.  The more we clean up our internal sewage system, the more toxins are removed at both the macro intestinal level, all the way down to the micro cellular level.  Awesome.

In pending videos you are going to learn more about why SOME form of fasting and cleansing is so darn important.  It has only been recently that the western world has begun to take cleansing more seriously, and the reasons why are things we really need to understand.  The benefits go way beyond mere fat and weight loss, and as I’ve mentioned many times, the focus of the fast should be on cleansing over fat loss; people tend to lose weight regardless due to the caloric deficit, but this sacrifice should not be the point of the fast.  The clean-out will not only help you take up nutrients more efficiently (are we starving for nutrition that we can’t absorb, hence overeating?) but perhaps more importantly, will free up the immune system and energy reserves to be devoted to more important things…such as exercise, and just plain LIVING life.

“WHAT IF I CAN’T FAST OR CLEANSE AT ALL THE WAY YOU SUGGEST?”

Answer: In my opinion, everyone can do this, either via the outright Master Cleanse style fast up to ten days, or the green juicing/raw fooding options for longer periods.  The latter enables us all to eat, and absolutely offers benefits if the fast is not an option.

The raw food style of living…be it all-out raw foods, veganism, or perhaps a variation of vegetarianism, are also routes that can be explored either as a temporary form of eating for clean-out, or for longer term eating as a lifestyle or for dealing with illness.  I cycle this way of eating into my lifestyle regularly.  For the hard-core raw foodists, much of their food comes straight from the wild…from nature…for free.  And has medicinal value that can far surpass that of our pharmaceutical drugs.  Click on the link below for a great program, from a great great guy, well known in Germany, over 50, and living an incredible raw-food life:
